
Mateusz Rychly is a musician playing string instruments (primarily guitar, but also
mandolin, banjo and bouzouki) in various musical styles such as folk, bluegrass,
country and blues. Apart from being a performing musician he holds MA in
musicology with research focused on traditional music of North America and it's
transformations in 20th century. Mateusz Rychly is also a guitar teacher, musical
educator and workshop leader.
With a career starting in 2012, Mateusz has taken part in recording two albums, co-composed three audiobook soundtracks and has played over two hundred concerts. The gigs that stand out are the 2019 show at the National Gallery in London (UK) with instrumental music trio Released Sounds, concert at the U.S. Embassy organized 4th of July Freedom Festival with country rock group Electric Cowboyz and concert at Fifres de Garonne Festival (FR) in duo with Maciej Rychly.
